Jamie O'Brien (Brom Van
Brunt)
Jamie began working in the performing arts in Los Angeles,
California as a child of six years old, and has been acting, singing,
producing, directing, and writing ever since. Jamie starting his singing
career in the world of opera and spent many years performing with such
illustrious organizations as the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco
Opera, and numerous symphony orchestras across the USA. Some of the
tenor roles in his operatic repertoire include: Madama Butterfly
(B. F. Pinkerton), La Traviata (Alfredo), Cavalleria Rusticana
(Turridu), La Boheme (Rodolfo), Tosca (Mario Cavaradosi),
and Rigoletto (Duke of Mantua).
Regionally, Jamie has performed in such shows as Little Mary Sunshine
(Billy Jester), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
(Pseudolus), Oklahoma! (Judd Fry), The Merry Widow (Camille),
True West (Austin), Ah Wilderness! (Richard Miller), Footlight
Frenzy (Tony Langdon), Chicago (Amos Hart), and Cats
(Old Deuteronomy).
As a recording and voice-over artist, Jamie has made several solo albums
featuring music in the genres of Broadway, pop, classical, American standards,
and gospel. He was the voice of the Book of Psalms for Mythos software's
Interactive Bible CD ROM, and has voiced numerous commercials for
television and radio.
Jamie is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and the American
Guild of Musical Artists.
